of a new world-record for the longest caviar-toast
was on the agenda, 130 meters (427 feet).

Dear Friends:
Finally, a
deep-rooted dream of mine came true with the
confirmation to review the exquisite Grand Hotel
Europe in one of the most fascinating cities in
the world, St. Petersburg Russia. I was prepared
to discover the history of this great and proud
nation, what I was not prepared for was the
experience of lavishing on caviar by the pound
and vodka by the gallon. ..

Dimitri returned to
the table with the first course of Warm Goat Cheese
Salad with Chicory and Black Olive Dressing. It was
an experiment in contrasting flavors and textures,
successfully combining the crisp spiky leaves of a
somewhat bitter taste with the creamy slightly sour
accented goat cheese.. |
