About Our Seven Stars and Stripes Team and the International Advisory Board, on the right. These carefully chosen distinctive board members are a global network of experts who have agreed to give the Seven Stars and Stripes Foundation meaningful input on a regular basis in many different areas, including organizational development, policy, and they may suggest establishments that deserve the outmost recognition. Their abilities, experience, and knowledge represents the vision of the ultimate global recognition, Seven Stars and Stripes. The Board advises in all affairs; sometimes questions will be directed at the whole group, sometimes individuals are consulted. They share an active dialog with the management of Seven Stars and Stripes. They are chosen not as a ‘list of highly recognizable names’, but as a group of people that the Seven Stars and Stripes teams interacts and consults; we will engage independent consultants to assist in the evaluation of specific issues concerning the industry.

Thorsten Buehrmann (Piosczyk)

Thorsten Buehrmann is the President and Founder of Seven Stars and Stripes®, Inc. The world traveler and global entrepreneur is an expert in multi-cultural marketing, global market development, studied IT and worked in the field of luxury hospitality after his honorable discharge as naval officer. Mr. Buehrmann is considered as a true gentleman and gourmet. Luxury establishments around the world trust and highly respect his expertise.

His photo-journalistic review style is easily recognizable, syndicated and prominently featured in the book collection edition of Seven Stars and Stripes® and affluent magazines. He is fluent in English and German. With 20 years of continuous education and studies, this distinctive gentleman still finds the time to enjoy his favorite hobbies, scuba diving and photography.

John Lomitola

John Lomitola Vice President of Seven Stars and Stripes, Inc.; a syndicated journalist with an award winning smile is the Executive Editor-in-Chief, Wine and Culinary Ambassador, who has published many reviews and ratings in his own distinct, eloquent and refined style.

At times living in Austria, Italy, Japan and several states in the US, Mr Lomitola became enamored with global taste.

While attending school in diverse locations around the world, Mr Lomitola was fortunate to meet various people of different ethnicities, traditions and backgrounds and developed friendships while at the same time laying a firm foundation for a life of travel, adventure and culinary appreciation. John & his wife Phyllis Lomitola are traveling with a special emphasis placed on visiting some of the finest resorts with the best locations coupled with outstanding cuisines, wines and products. During the course of the last few years, John became involved with the company that would come to challenge the current accepted methods of judging and ratifying lifestyle products and services for the benefit of the public. John has dedicated himself to traveling the globe in search of the finest that life has to offer.

Ingrid Lemme

Ingrid Lemme, celebrated and adored by her fans, wrote the script for her talk show American Dream® and produced the show herself until she was discovered by a commercial TV station a decade ago. The award-winning American Dream Show (filmed at Gurney's Inn in the Hamptons, NY) is aired prime time to 5 million households on Hamptons TV® WVVH and watched throughout New York, New Jersey and Westchester.

Viewers world-wide are watching Hamptons TV and the American Dreams Show in real-time by logging on to www.HamptonsTV.com. and on Time Warner's new Video On Demand Channel 1111. Marketing expert Ingrid Lemme and her team were essential in the development of the Seven Stars global marketing strategy and she is part of the original founders board.

Barry Kay

Barry Kay, Executive Vice President of Seven Stars and Stripes Inc. is a consummate entrepreneur, investor, developer and writer. Over the past 25 years, Kay has been the CEO and creator of five unique and diverse businesses involved in consumer & hospitality products and services that are today globally recognized.

Kay began his writing career in college and rekindled his passion for journalism in recent years by creating and becoming the Editor in Chief of ‘Drive Time’ . He acts as a Contributing editor for ‘Boulevard magazine’ one of the fastest growing and most popular Life Style magazines on Long Island and New York. Kay’s luxury lifestyle columns encompass hotel and restaurant reviews as well as interviews with nationally knowned VIPs and are read in print by over 100,000 of the most affluent readers on Long Island and New York City, besides millions or readers online world-wide. Barry Kay and his wife Rita are proud parents of two successful businessmen Brian and Bradley, and grandparents to five grandchildren. Both Kays’ are very civic minded and involved in working for the betterment of their communities and fellow man. Rita Kay has spent the past 28 years fundraising pro-bono, for Children’s Medical Fund of NY the major fund raising arm for Schneider Children’s Hospital of the North Shore/LIJ Health System. She has received many honors for her outstanding commitment to children’s and women’s causes as well as having her philanthropic achievements read into the Congressional Record by Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy. Two years ago she was chosen to be the Executive Director of Children's Medical Fund.

Bernd Deyerler

Bernd Deyerler is Vice President of Research & Global Market Coordinator for Seven Stars and Stripes, Inc. and one of the original founders. Our intellectual, instinctual logical and soft-spoken colleague is a 'Global Coordinator' by training. A retired naval officer, Bernd is a certified marine engineer and officer; he guarantees that the Seven Stars & Stripes team schedules work to the T.

Bernd Deyerler who was born near the historic city of Heidelberg, Germany is an expert in managing national and international projects and is at home in the finest hotels and resorts of the world.

Multi-lingual Deyerler is a discriminating connoisseur and an epicure in fine dining. His hobbies are diving (preferably in exotic places), tennis, photography and a good book. He is father of two adult children; his son is a young inspiring attorney and his daughter is a dedicated teacher. Bernd Deyerler is man of politeness and honor; an officer and a gentleman. His writing style is eclectic, utmost elegant, and easily recognizable.

Neli Yordanova

Neli Yordanova is Director for Global Market Development for Seven Stars and Stripes, Inc. Miss Yordanova has joined the Seven Stars and Stripes team after studies in International Business Management in her native Bulgaria. Neli uses her passion for analyzing and implementing business management in our daily operations, and her expertise in global time management helps the team to avoid unnecessary downtime. Going beyond market solutions, Miss Yordanova helps to ensure the continued availability of Seven Stars and Stripes teams to their worldwide clients.
Neli comes from a family of entrepreneurs and is definitely a self-starter. The native Bulgarian was recently married, lives most of the time on the East Coast of the United States, and is fluent in English and Bulgarian.

Neli is a people person; she loves traveling, her cat Porter, sushi, and her husband Nick. Her favorite hobbies are exercising, the beach and riding her moped.

Bruce Northam

Bruce Northam is an advisory board member and a full-time travel journalist par excellence. The most charming and handsome gentlemen and founder of American Detour www.AmericanDetour.com won two bronze awards for two magazine articles in the 19th Annual Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition held by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation - Awards for Work Published in 2002-2003 in 14 categories, the competition was judged by the University of Missouri School of Journalism.

Not quite a Pulitzer, but this competition celebrates the highest honors in travel writing.

Most of the magazine awards went to Travel & Leisure and National Geographic Traveler. His third book "Globetrotter Dogma: 100 canons for escaping the rat race & exploring the world" (June 02) is in fourth printing. Bruce Northam contributes to National Geographic Traveler and gives animated presentations about freestyle travel nationwide. The handsome globe trotter is also the writer-at-large for the distinctive Blue Magazine and has contributed to the famous Chicken Soup for the Soul series.Bruce is the travel columnist for The Improper Magazine, a Long Island publication that reaches Manhattanites as well as 200,000 discerning readers from New York City. His first two books, “In Search of Adventure: A Wild Travel Anthology” (1999) and “The Frugal Globetrotter” (1996) also continue to sell is astounding numbers. Bruce Northam was awarded “American Dream” Author of the Year, 2003 and reviews for Seven Stars & Stripes on his travels the finest the globe has to offer.

Rolf Stähler

Rolf Staehler, author and syndicated journalist. This distinguished entrepreneur, whose business expertise is highly respected by start-up and Fortune 500 corporations all over the world, received an extensive education in luxuries of life. Rolf has earned a diploma in Aachen - Germany but it is his travels around the globe that have shaped this intellectual, professional and soft-spoken gentlemen.

Rolf Staehler's articles are published in books and magazines world wide. Multilingual Rolf Staehler who has lived in France, Germany and Scandinavia is especially fond of fine French cuisine.

His deep instinctual expertise and knowledge of fine wines and champagnes, is reflected in the selections to be found in his own wine cellar. Rolf's hobbies are filming, directing and camera; but his most beloved hobby is golf.

Arno Goudschaal

Arno Goudschaal is a young, aspiring photographer and highly creative graphic designer who joined the American Dream Team at the very beginning. Arno completed a full term apprenticeship in photography, owns his own photo lab and practices both film and digital photography. He is highly trained and experienced in IT and IT art and his images are found in publications, galleries, and fine homes around the world.

As a world traveler, Goudschaal creates portraits, sea & landscapes and is a master of photography de cuisine.

He loves to catch the 'feelings' of Africa in his innovative style, but favors the colors and diversity of the US. Arno's art has won multiple awards in photography and graphics. The young entrepreneur jogs, dives and loves fine foods, favoring Mediterranean cuisine.

Sascha Derschewsky

Sascha Derschewsky, Photographer. Sascha discovered his photographic talents and passion for the visual arts about a decade ago. Since then his photography has become a serious pursuit at a professional level. His intense, graphic style caught the eye of the Seven Stars and Stripes team during a recent exhibition and is easily recognizable through his illustrious close-ups. He brilliantly captures the precise moment that makes all the difference. Three of his greatest passions in life are travel, cuisine and photography. Experiencing other cultures, meeting people from other countries and capturing the beauty of the world in his 'heritage' vision is his lifelong pursuit.

Though originally trained in business 'Information Systems and Technology' he has found his true calling in creative photography. Sascha is a volunteer of the International Red Cross and also volunteers as instructor of adolescents of table tennis. Sascha plays tennis, reads, writes and loves the outdoors.

Stefan Deyerler

Stefan Deyerler Esq. is the legal advisor for Seven Stars and Stripes, Inc. concerning our business matters in Europe. His position as in-house counsel for an international corporation based in Germany emphasizes his expertise in the areas of national and international law, particulary with regard to corporate and commercial legal matters.
Stefan graduated from the Faculty of Law at Mannheim University and gained his second legal state examination in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe, what makes him a fully qualified German lawyer. After working for an international firm based in Stuttgart for more than two years, Stefan Deyerler recently joined the legal department of a holding company at an international group of companies based in Nuremberg.

Stefan got recently married to his wife Maria and they make their home near Frankfurt, Germany. His favorite hobbies are ballroom dancing, biking, tennis, sailing and snorkeling. Stefan Deyerler is also very much interested in politics, history, IT, photography and traveling.
